REGULAR MEETING OF KEYSTONE KOPS OF MIDIAN TEMPLE

MIDIAN TEMPLE PYRAMID ROOM

29 January 1975

A meeting of the Midian Temple Keystone Kops was held on January 29, 1975, at the Midian Temple at 7:30 P.M.

Acting director Noble Joe Hall presiding;

Present were Gayle Estes, Joe Hall, Tom Sawyer, Jerry Sutton, Doug Irving, Chet Green, Don Skipworth, Tom Tartamella, Harold Conchran, John Paugh, Lewis McDonald and Earl Hamlin.

Nobles Sawyer, Sutton, Green, Irvin, Skipworth, Tartamella, Estes, Conchran, Paugh, McDonald, Hall, and Hamilton were declared Charter Members.

The motion was made and seconded that this be considered the first meeting of the Unit. Carried.

The motion was made and seconded that we meet every Wednesday night for a while. Carried.

The motion was made and seconded that we write the By-Laws so we could get started as a Unit. Carried.

Motion was made and seconded that veteran status be given after 3 years. Motion was made to amend the time to 10 years and seconded. Motion was defended. The original motion then was voted on and adopted.

Motion was made and seconded that we limit the membership to 25 members. Carried.

Motion was made and seconded that we have the dues at $5.00 per year. The motion was made and seconded to amend the amount to $10.00. Carried. The original motion was the voted on and defeated.

The motion was made that Joe Hall be named Chief. Seconded. The motion was made and seconded that Gayle Estes be named Chief. A secret ballot was taken and Noble Gayle Estes was elected as Chief.

The motion was made and seconded that Joe Hall be Asst. Chief. He declined. The motion was made and seconded that Harold Cochran be named as Asst. Chief. Carried.

The motion was made and seconded that Earl C. Hamlin be named as Lt. Or Sec’y. Carried.

The motion was made and seconded that Chet Green be named as Desk Sgt. Or Treas. Carried.

The By-Laws were accepted as read and agreed on.

Nothing further appearing, the motion was made and seconded that we adjourn.
